A Brief History
Union Baptist Church is so named because it was the unification of several churches, which was organized by Rev. H.L. Stewart in October of 1916. There were three more pastors before Rev. G.C. Chaney took over in 1927 and he was at the helm from 1927 to 1985. From 1985 to Present Day, we've had Rev. Gerald W. Perkins, SR as our pastor.

Our church's chief aim is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ through a Christ-centered message and people-oriented ministry. You'll discover that there is a place of service in our church for you.
